Whilst watching the Indian Premier League recently I was amazed by the introduction of the Mongoose bat. The revolutionary new cricket bat sports a longer handle and a shorter face. The manufacturer claims that this provides 20% more power and 15% more bat speed. It was designed especially for the T20 form of the game and for attacking shots.
